BMC Remedy ARSystem 7.x Administrator part 2
In this course, students learn how to administer and build applications in BMC Remedy AR System. Through a combination of lecture and lab exercises, students learn how to perform the tasks of an BMC Remedy AR System Administrator and Developer, from managing user access to maintaining an application. In addition, students learn how to develop and customize basic AR System objects.
The first module of this course consists of an intensive lab exercise that provides an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their proficiency of the knowledge and skills learned in the AR System Administrator part 1.
Course objectives
The course teaches a variety of different skills, most of which are practical and increase the students ability to work with the AR System Admin tool.
At the end of the course students can:
- Manage access control and AR System licenses
- Perform common administrative tasks using the BMC Remedy AR System Administration Console.
- Create AR System objects using BMC Remedy Administrator
- Import and export AR System server objects and data
- Build AR System forms, fields and menus to meet business data requirements
- Build AR System active links that automate system responses to user actions
- Build AR System filters that enforce business rules
- Build time-based escalations
- Package AR System forms into a local application
- Create a deployable application
- Manage log files
- Customize an application for the web
- Perform basic server administration tasks
Student profile
This course is suitable for employees who need profound knowledge of the AR System. In most cases this concerns people who will develop a new application using AR System software, manage an existing AR System application or want to know more about the technical background of ExpertDesk. The successful completion of the AR System Administrator part 1 is a prerequisite to this course.
