Data Administrator Advanced
Mansystems’ advanced Data Administrator course is essentially a follow up course for data administrators who want to know more about the system and technical background of ExpertDesk and the specific data administrator functions and forms in the system. This includes for example the data import functionality and the specific administrator forms within ExpertDesk.
Course Objectives
During this course, students gain more understanding on how ExpertDesk is technically configured and learn about the form-based structure of the application. Students further develop their ability to perform maintenance activities, such as using the import or delete functions of the application more easily.

After participating in this course, students:
- Acquire knowledge skills
- Know the technical background of ExpertDesk
- Define maintenance and data structure updates and strategies
ExpertDesk skills for the Data Administrator
- Know how the BMC Remedy Administrator tool interacts with ExpertDesk and which objects are used
- Knowledge about the form structure of ExpertDesk and how these forms interact with end users, administratorsand data administrators
- Define advanced contract structures
- Define new state transition matrices for service processes
- Able to define new import files and import the data in the appropriate forms
- Configure the ExpertDesk Start Panel
- Develop trouble shooting skills and can communicate this information to other help resources.
Student Profile
The course is aimed at employees and Data Administrators, who will be maintaining and entering Core Data in ExpertDesk. In addition, it can be helpful to employees who are responsible for ExpertDesk's technical management. Trainees who have knowledge of organizational business processes can expect a higher return on investment. It enables them to translate what they have learned directly to the ExpertDesk application.
